Brain Injury
The Children’s Center at The Phoenix is a leader in the treatment of brain injury and specializes in a diverse list of pediatric patient care. As children progress through the stages of brain injury recovery, they may require a broad range of specialized services to meet their individual physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
ā
Upon admission to the Children’s Center, our team of experts carefully evaluates the child’s neurological status, function, nursing, and medical needs, as well as motor function abilities. The Children’s Center’s unique expertise comes from the knowledge, skill, and teamwork of family pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, pediatric physiatrists, pediatric neuropsychologists, pediatric cognitive rehabilitation therapists, and pediatric rehabilitation nurses all working together to customize an evidence-based treatment plan tailored to each child’s specific needs.
